How to Choose a Stairlift in Los Angeles
When selecting a stairlift for your Los Angeles home, consider these key factors:
- Staircase type: Straight stairs need a straight stairlift ($2,000-$5,000). Curved or L-shaped stairs require a custom curved stairlift ($7,500-$15,000).
- Weight capacity: Standard models support 250-300 lbs. Heavy-duty models support up to 400 lbs.
- Climate considerations: CA weather may affect outdoor stairlift options. Ask your Los Angeles dealer about weather-resistant models if you need an outdoor unit.
- Local installation: Choose a provider that services Los Angeles directly, not through a subcontractor, for faster service and warranty support.
- Warranty: Look for at least a 3-year warranty on parts and motor. Some brands offer lifetime rail warranties.
